The Tanzanian Wildlife Department regulations permit the hunting of both lion and leopard under the following conditions only:

• 21           Day Safari

• 1 x 1       One Lion and one Leopard permit

• 2 x 1       The clients must share one Lion and one Leopard permit

• 2 x 2       Each client will have one Lion and one Leopard permit

• 3 x 2       The client will share two Lion and two Leopard permits

The Tanzanian Wildlife Department minimum length regulations are:

• The minimum legal length for Leopard is 1.50 meters (60 inches) from tip of nose to base of tail.

• The minimum legal length for Elephant is 1.60 meters (62.99 inches) of tusk or 18 kilograms weight (39.6 pounds).

• The minimum legal length for Crocodile is 3.00 meters (118 inches) from tip of nose to tip of tail.

• Minimum caliber for dangerous games is .375 (9.3 mm).

• Handgun hunting is strictly forbidden.
