Kilombero North Safaris, including subsidiaries and affiliates, provides the information contained on this website or any of the pages comprising the website (“Website”) to visitors (“Visitors”) (cumulatively referred to as “you” or “your”) subject to the terms and conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices which may be applicable to a specific section of this Website.

Kilombero North Safaris Limited ("Kilombero North Safaris") reserves the right to remove any material submitted or posted by you in the public areas, without notice to you, if it becomes aware and determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that any such material may: defame, abuse, harass, threaten or otherwise violate the rights of other users or any third parties; publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information; post or upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of Kilombero North Safaris and/or a third party’s computer system and/or network; violate any copyright, trade mark, other applicable Tanzanian or international laws or intellectual property rights of the Kilombero North Safaris or any other third party; submit contents containing marketing or promotional material which is intended to solicit business.

 

Furthermore, you agree not to use the website to send or post any message or material that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, indecent, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, sexually orientated, racially offensive, profane, pornographic or which violates any applicable law and you hereby indemnify Kilombero North Safaris against any loss, liability, damage or expense of whatever nature which Kilombero North Safaris or any third party may suffer which is caused by or attributable to, whether directly or indirectly, your use of the website to send or post any such message or material.

 

WARRANTIES

Kilombero North Safaris Limited ("Kilombero North Safaris") makes no warranties, representations, statements, or guarantees, whether express or implied in law or otherwise, regarding the website, the information contained on the website, your or your company’s personal information or material and information transmitted over our system.

SAFARI RATES INCLUDE

​

  • The service of a complete crew including Professional Hunter, tracker, cooks, skinners, stewards and their assistants.

  • Provision of fully equipped camp, radio communications, daily access to satellite wi-fi in all camps with the exception of the camps which already have mobile/cell reception, and satellite telephones (upon request).

  • Hunting licences, Conservation Fee, Concession Fee and Government Trophy Handling Fees.

  • Fully comprehensive first aid kits (prescribed medication is the client’s responsibility).

  • Fine food prepared by the cooks daily, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as preserved foods of the highest quality available.

  • Every effort is made to accommodate specialty requests/requirements, provided advance notice is given.

  • Soft drinks, mineral and sparkling water, alcoholic beverages and fresh juices (please advise on preferences in advance).

  • The provision of transport, one modern 4x4 safari vehicle per Professional Hunter and the necessary load carriers for equipment, provisions, trophies, and staff.

  • The skinning and preservation of trophies in the field plus dipping, handling, and transportation to Dar es Salaam.

  • A company representative to assist you upon arrival and departure.

  • Processing documentation and crating of trophies for exportation.

 

SAFARI RATES DO NOT INCLUDE

​

  • Firearm licence of $ 200 for each additional firearm.

  • Trophy Fee (inclusive of community development contribution and anti-poaching effort).

  • Air charters and or road transfers.

  • Hotel accommodation and expenses before, during, and after the safari days.

  • Commercial airline flights, visas, airport taxes and items of a personal nature.

  • Gratuities for the staff and the Professional Hunters (cash only).

  • Cost of transporting equipment and personnel to places beyond our concessions for specific purposes as requested i.e. photographic safari expeditions.

  • Airfreight of trophies from Tanzania.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

 

  • A deposit of 50% of safari rate is required to confirm the booking. 

  • Game Trophy Fee and all Government royalties charged would be those applicable to the year the safari is taken regardless of what is quoted in the initial contract. 

  • Invoices and quotes are subject to charge at any time based on any changes in Government Fees, Taxes or Game Trophy Fees, which are out of our control.

 

INSURANCE

 

We strongly recommend that you obtain the following type(s) of insurance:

  • Accidental Death and Disability

  • Loss of Personal Effects

  • Emergency Evacuation

  • Medical

  • Trip Cancellation

 

Please make sure your policies are up to date and you are fully insured before you travel.

 

CANCELLATIONS & LIABILITY

 

It is important to understand that hunting is a sport that involves risk and big game hunting can be dangerous even though every possible care is taken to safeguard you, and your property. 

 

Kilombero North Safaris / Wembere Hunting Safaris accept no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, illnesses or fatality incurred during or arising while on safari, nor loss or damage of property. 

 

The company accepts no responsibility for changes to Government Fees or policies, however we will endeavour to notify you as quickly as possible if/when they occur. 

 

No guarantees can be made for any animal not obtained during the hunting as we adhere to principles and regulations of ‘Fair Chase’.

 

If a safari is cancelled 60 days or more prior to the start of the safari, the deposit will be refunded only if the safari is resold and a 15% administration fee will apply. 

 

If a safari is cancelled within 60 days of the starting date no refund is applicable, as such we do strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.

 

Force majeure, meaning acts of God, explosion, floods, tempest, fire or accident, war, threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance, of government intervention, weather conditions or other untoward occurrences. In the event of force majeure, the company is entitled to vary or cancel any itinerary or arrangement. 

 

Refunds in this case are solely at the discretion of the company, although all efforts shall be made to refund wherever possible.
